The LLLL.com sales and discussion thread

Hello, I think it would be pretty useful to keep track of all LLLL.com sales , even the little ones under $100 so that , pretty soon , when the available LLLL.com will be finished , we`ll have a better idea on market prices.

It is important that these sales are confirmed. So before to post, make sure payment went OK.

I will start with todays` Sedo confirmed sales:

Also, I found interesting to see this average LLLL, getting bids up to $51 and reserve not me. It says it all.

on toht.com there were 52 bids from 46 bidders. 8 bid higher than 69. I like the name because h is silent with vowel + h + consonant and just makes the vowel long. So you'd pronounce it "to:t", which sounds nice to me. And not to mention that all letters are premium

nwex - I like nw, sw, ne, se as region/direction. NW = northwest. And ex is great for anything )

of course, before )) It is from observing brands/names around. For toht, see, e.g., Kohl's, US chain of stores. For direction/region, e.g., Setf.com (SouthEast Toyota Finance)...

Seems cheap considering that the .com version would probably fetch high $XX,XXX.

I think it would be more like 10k or so for the .com. High 5 figures would get you a stellar name in the current market.

I feel it's a highly brandable word and could be used for any number of sites/products. I would say $50,000-$80,000. I have seen a lot longer and dumber names sell for that much. My opinion might be skewed because I'm a prankster and a smart ass. LOL

Hoax has a negative feel to me - nobody wants to be hoaxed.

While I can see a site of famous hoaxes getting traffic, it doesn't seem much of a money maker IMHO.

Hoax.net is a nice single word .NET, but with limited commercial appeal.

Before the auction I would have guessed it would sell for $1500 - $2500 range. You can get good single word .NET in that price range.
