Hello, I think it would be pretty useful to keep track of all LLLL.com sales , even the little ones under $100 so that , pretty soon , when the available LLLL.com will be finished , we`ll have a better idea on market prices.

It is important that these sales are confirmed. So before to post, make sure payment went OK.

I will start with todays` Sedo confirmed sales:

FISE.com 2,700 Euros
TSRT.com US $760
VEUP.com US $1,700

Also, I found interesting to see this average LLLL, getting bids up to $51 and reserve not me. It says it all.

Generally the only ones worth buying are the ones that either have many possible acronyms (whether in English, Chinese or other language that's another topic), or are brandable - meaning they sound like they could be used as a brand like Nike, Biom (I sold this one), Hulu, Dior etc. Random combinations are going down the hill in value, e.g.: kzvf.com. Domainers have been buying and selling mostly the latter, however you should stay away from it in my opinion, unless you bet on another domainers buying frenzy.

icec.com 3,002 USD 2017-10-30 NameJet

On the other hand, nsoe.com went for $240, that is such a bargain there are no words for it. Looks like it's time to start buying again.

At Namejet though you can now buy English premium LLLL.com's in the $240-$250 range. That is new. I understand why the CHIPS went down, makes sense, however English premiums do sell to end users. By far most LLLL's I sold were English premiums or 3 premium letter and one non-premium.

Posted this in the regular sales thread yesterday:

Sold o/c/v/p .com $888 BIN Afternic
Bought for less than $300 less than 1 year ago. Sort of a quick flip for me. Can't complain.

It seems the prices are going up...

I wouldn't say so. They are on a slow down trend still, possibly close to the bottom, but only time will tell. What's for sure is that buyers are very cautious. Good time to cherry-pick, not a good time to mass-sell.

They will....at least eventually. why? because the supply is shrinking, even if slowly. Any dip will be short lived. And some people say/try to say that 4L.com is a bubble, or it has busted....while the supply keeps shrinking and the names keep selling. What bs

Two of the top ten sales from yesterday seems to be mine:

mmmu.com 1,100 USD 2017-11-08 NameJet
fcfe.com 610 USD 2017-11-08 NameJet

Not too good - not too bad.

4L Western buyers are limited on NJ.

I used to bid at least up to 290 on all western on NJ and BrandProtection was the winner at 300 or over.

Now that I stopped buying, BrandProtection can win all auctions that do not attract interest at very low $$. There is nobody bidding against him.

EDIT:
That is why not too long ago I said you should never send a western to NJ without setting a reserve price.

I have another one coming up in a few days, KKKA. So far only 17 bids and it has no reserve, curious how it will compare with MMMU. I have sold recently KKKM for $3.4k, also at NJ, but that was a chip.

It is a US platform, why would there be few western LLLL.com buyers? At least the western LLLL.com's that have nice abbreviations are selling for way more than they would here at NP. FCFE would have gotten probably $300-$350 here. What surprises me is that chips are still holding up. I thought they would crash to way below $500 once the hype dies, and it did die. However they still sell for at least $900. I remember when I sold 15 chips for $500 each and thought it was an amazing deal, after all I paid few years back peanuts for them. Then half year later they were selling for $2.5k.
