Hello, I think it would be pretty useful to keep track of all LLLL.com sales , even the little ones under $100 so that , pretty soon , when the available LLLL.com will be finished , we`ll have a better idea on market prices.

It is important that these sales are confirmed. So before to post, make sure payment went OK.

I will start with todays` Sedo confirmed sales:

FISE.com 2,700 Euros
TSRT.com US $760
VEUP.com US $1,700

Also, I found interesting to see this average LLLL, getting bids up to $51 and reserve not me. It says it all.

Snoop appears to be predicting a double dip recession globally.

?????

but many LLL.com are in the hands of end users and not for sale, while another portion of the supply is still in the hands of domainers, that won't sell them cheaply.

The LLL.com market is down 50%-60%, whether you consider the current minimum cheap or not it is a market that is nowhere near its levels of the past. Domainers are willing to sell these names for significantly less than previously. That said the falls are nowhere near what has been seen in LLLL.com.

If the argument is just that "some" domainers won't sell them cheaply, that applies to all types of domains, some will hold out/never sell/hope for endusers which may or may not come etc.

$120-$130 is still the low end for the premiums. It's going at the same rate since September 2009.

ekko is great... I was expecting it on NJ and would bid high... Memorable, nice and ends in "ko" which is equivalent of Co in many countries.

ekko is great...

I second that. $3K is over what I would have guessed, but it is a very solid brandable.

Sometimes I think very strong brandable LLLL.com that do not fit the CVCV or VCVC pattern are the best, because while they are also memorable and also sound good, they look much more unique.

After a time, CVCV's are beginning to look quite similar to me -- some better, some worse, but they all fit a single mold. And ekko breaks it in all the right ways.

Congrats to the winner even if he/she had to pay the price.

well, I think it is quite fair price, since the meaning is not quite commercial...

that's an extreme steal imo.

(for those that actually know the root name)

Kaif is a last name of Indian Cricket Player, but that's a whopping price for very little known last name IMO
