Hello, I think it would be pretty useful to keep track of all LLLL.com sales , even the little ones under $100 so that , pretty soon , when the available LLLL.com will be finished , we`ll have a better idea on market prices.

It is important that these sales are confirmed. So before to post, make sure payment went OK.

I will start with todays` Sedo confirmed sales:

FISE.com 2,700 Euros
TSRT.com US $760
VEUP.com US $1,700

Also, I found interesting to see this average LLLL, getting bids up to $51 and reserve not me. It says it all.

how accurate is estibot.com in appraising 4L.com domains?

some meaningless double premium 4L.com i have are quite well evaluated

vgyx . com 230$

what do you think?

Estibot is not very advanced in it's appraisals of the special points of LLLLs, for example it does not recognize quads. $230 is actually one of it's lower LLLL.com valuations, so it could be considered low end-user price level. The new Beta version in process overall lowers prices but raises them for LLLL.coms.

The advantage of Estibot is when you run a large group of domains and flag those with high numbers for further investigation. It really is a weighted compilation of various information, just like a person would do. But a person can also decide if the meaning makes business sense, a computer cannot. Estibot often gives great values to obscure biological terms because they get great search results.

You really turned down an offer of 3,5k? Great that you can afford to do such things, advn is no way short from advertising...

Have to agree with you.. $3.5k is a TOP offer for that name IMHO.

I agree with sidekick_33's comments. $5 - $10 seems like a fair appraisal.

Estibot wildly over-estimates LLLL.com values, at least for lower-end domains.

LLLY.net comes much closer to getting it correct. Even so, I estimate that LLLY exaggerates appraisals in terms of current market values by an average of about 40%. To correct that, divide the appraisal by 1.4 to get an approximate realistic value at the present time.

To take your domain as an example, LLLY appraises it at $20. Dividing that by 1.4 gives us about $14. That still seems high to me, but it's a whole lot closer than Estibot's $230.

Estibot overestimates most names. Agree those LLLL values seem pretty crazy though.

No mate, they aren't 0's that is AT POOL, where he bought the domain. :D

That would be the buy of the century!

On a serious note though, i like your thinking on the John Mayer theme etc. The QaQf.com is not really a great one I'm afraid.

Not sure if this is just an anomaly or the sign of things to come but ALL non-private seller LLLL.com domains ending today at Snap public auction with $9 and $19 starting bids have at least one bid! It's a similar story for domains ending tomorrow, with only three having no bids. First time I've seen this for quite a while.

That's quite interesting, lets see if a (positive) pattern develops. B-)
