Hello, I think it would be pretty useful to keep track of all LLLL.com sales , even the little ones under $100 so that , pretty soon , when the available LLLL.com will be finished , we`ll have a better idea on market prices.

It is important that these sales are confirmed. So before to post, make sure payment went OK.

I will start with todays` Sedo confirmed sales:

FISE.com 2,700 Euros
TSRT.com US $760
VEUP.com US $1,700

Also, I found interesting to see this average LLLL, getting bids up to $51 and reserve not me. It says it all.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
AfternicAfternic
Qweq.com
EstiBot.com Domain Appraisal USD 200
Google: Results 1 - 10 of about 31,700 for qweq

Every listing on the first page of Google is a username for Myspace, Facebook, Linkedin or another similar. Could be someone buying their username.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I see no reason to allow people to pick and choose the best of my domains at reseller prices. I want the price appreciation for myself and I do not want the trouble of replacing what was sold. Reece, I think a large majority of LLLL.com owners are not interested in reseller prices. I guess it would be possible to randomly pick a hundred domains at SEDO, offer a decent reseller price and see how many accept. I expect less than 10%.
Nice, but i dought is it a real bid or shill bid:|
I assume owner(s) of qweq.eu, qweq.nl and qweq.be bought it. Looks like they are launching something this autumn.
You can find them on llllsales.com. Select "Triple letter" from the menu on the left. You can also specify a date range and/or a venue.
LoL, so you bought it on sedo last month for $260 and now you ask how much it is worth?
Sorry I didn't see that list before but hvvv.com = $260
hvvv.com $201.00 4/20/2009 Ebay
hvvv.com $260.00 7/14/2009 Sedo
Yeah I bought it for $260....and NO I didn't ask how much it's worth...I asked how much do you think it could go for....there's a difference.
I've received offers on it from NP members before. I know its worth. I just don't know how much it would go for if I put it on auction....
There's nothing wrong in trying to flip a domain if you think you got it at bargain price. However, you have to consider the selling fee (10% in the case of Sedo). I think you can get anything from $150 to $350 if you put it for sale. The market seems to be improving but it is still very unpredictable.
I didn't say anything is wrong with trying to flip it.
He asked how much it would go for and I told him $260 because that is how much he bought it for - 10% sedo fee now that he becomes the seller.
Considering how much ever the market went up in that last month, it definitely isn't 10%. So you would actually be loosing money. Simple math.
If you did get lucky however it might go for more than the amount.
Until then,
Sincerely,
Simple Math.
No because you're only saying it'll go for $260 NOW because you know how much I paid for it. In your previous post you said $300 - $450.
The only reason you changed your evaluation is because you now know how much I paid for it. But what you're not considering is whether or not I got it for a bargain or not. According to your original valuation, I did get it for a bargain.
If I hand reg something for $10 that doesn't mean it's only worth $10.
It has nothing to do with simple math, it has to do with common sense.
Whoa Whoa, calm down children. Try having someone send it to auction for $260 and see if your gamble pays off, rather than fight with someone about knowing the price you paid. I agree that the price you paid is what it is worth. There no reason to buy a name for $260 and then a month later think you can get $1000 for it. You might get lucky, and you might lose $20 as well.
And this is the dumbest thing I've ever heard (no offense) ...but just because I bought it for $260 doesn't mean the most I'll be able to sell it for is $260.
According to that logic there would be no such thing as flipping a domain if you could only sell it for what you paid for it.
My original intentions were not to flip it. I bought it for a reason...I was just wondering what you guys thought it could go for in an auction. But now I wouldn't mind selling it because things have changed and I no longer need it.
Try putting it on Ebay with a $300 reserve and see what happens. You might find a buyer that doesn't frequent Namepros or Sedo.
Ebay is not something I'm a fan of. I would never put any domains of mine on Ebay.
But if you really want me to prove a point...bid $260 on it on Sedo and we'll see how much it goes for. I'll guarantee you it goes for at least $300.
