We need this one too guys :)

This guide will also help LLLL.com holders to understand more the value of their 4 letters .com based on how expensive the similar 3 letters .com are.

From:

http://3character.com/priceguide.html

Pricing Guide for 3-Letter (Composed Of Letters Only) Domains:

Current Observed Minimum Wholesale Price (regardless of letter combo) as of February 1, 2008:

3-Letter .com - $6700 (+ $300 since January 1, 2008 report)

But I consider their guide a bit old since they are not taking in consideration the emergenging countries that appreciate other letters and as we have run a poll here several times lately, the majority of people consider the letters U
and W to be Premium letters.

Let`s have a look at some recent LLL.com sales as reported from NameBio.com :

$30-40k range sales were 6-7 years ago, I wonder why someone sells now LLL.com for such amount especially to resellers..my point that currently LLL.com floor price is $100k and that will rise and such budget can afford any mid level company for domain name & marketing / reputation purposes, i'm not talking even about big companies.

You need to study lll.com sales over a long period of time to see you are way off the mark here, what do you base your figures on?

There are a few sales over 100k, but majority are under $50K

I have spreadsheet of every reported lll.com sales and a few private ones I know of from clients and friends of mine as well

People i'm not saying that LLL.com floor price is $100k, I'm saying that I thing it must be considering current domain market demand and value of NNN.com and even LLLL.com, owner can sell it for whatever he wishes, even for $1k, we all have different situations in life, someone needs urgently money, etc. as "djum" said "LLL.com is retirement plan asset, LLLL - stock for younger and active investor." I know big domainers who even not reply on emails if see offer less than $100k for their domain names, and they sell them! Again, $100k nowadays is not big money, it's price of one good car, not more, and any mid. level company from developed countries can afford it.

So today LLL.com sale is NTQ.com at $44,600 on Namejet with 151 bidders, sale was at exactly the same amount range which is currently Chinese offer to owners of LLL.com's by whois. For me it seems like floor price for LLL.com rise from $35k to $40k for resellers.

There is still few Namejet auctions on LLL.com's which will end in few days, for example JFS.com current bid is $31,313 and RSC.com current bid is $51,515

I'm sure in future any LLL.com will cost 100K.
But how soon this future will come we can only guess..

RSC is good one, SC = market in PinYin, watch it to go higher, I'm sure they can figure what to put for R.

Yes they do, but you can do that when you have 20,000 or 100,000 names or even 100 names and they are all premium, but none of us here do, and thats the issue

People i'm not saying that LLL.com floor price is $100k, I'm saying that I thing it must be considering current domain market

The floor prices is really dependent on what the market indicates and what the names are selling for. Believe me, I would love the floor price to be 100K (I think it should be 200K;))

What is a fair price for a company to buy a shop in Oxford Street, or a billboard in Time Square?

LLL.COMs are TOP domains, some of the easiest to remember and type.
