We need this one too guys :)

This guide will also help LLLL.com holders to understand more the value of their 4 letters .com based on how expensive the similar 3 letters .com are.

From:

http://3character.com/priceguide.html

Pricing Guide for 3-Letter (Composed Of Letters Only) Domains:

Current Observed Minimum Wholesale Price (regardless of letter combo) as of February 1, 2008:

3-Letter .com - $6700 (+ $300 since January 1, 2008 report)

But I consider their guide a bit old since they are not taking in consideration the emergenging countries that appreciate other letters and as we have run a poll here several times lately, the majority of people consider the letters U
and W to be Premium letters.

Let`s have a look at some recent LLL.com sales as reported from NameBio.com :

"Premium" definition is a joke, however $99,000 for a big company is not an issue.

It would be more believable IMO that ESE.com sold for $99K and mec for 13.5K, but there you go, truth is stranger than fiction.

In French, mec means guy, bloke, boyfriend. Who knows, maybe it's the same buyer that bought masculin.com for $150K a while back :)

update: My apologies but it seems Sedo has been feeding old data.

The "RCS.com" sale occurred on 2007-10-31 , for indeed $95,000.

Sedo never stops disappointing me.

Might be, but it takes at least two bidders to reach that price level. E.g. if the resellers stopped bidding at $14k it would've taken a $14,5k for a company to win the domain. Without having seen the bid activity, my guess is that two or more end-users bid against each other.

Exactly...wonder who won.
...
BTW, SOX.com is at auction on Sedo...VERY curious to see how this one will end.
Maybe there will be a bidding war between the White SOX and the Red SOX baseball teams!

Are you sure?

Appears to be listed at Sedo with a BIN of $150,000...?

Hmm...could've sworn I saw it at auction...it doesn't seem it is now though. :-/
...
Sometimes names are taken off auction, but I could've been mistaken...with Sedo these days you never know ;)
(I may have seen it in their alternating Top Domains/Featured Auctions listings on their homepage...which is a mess now imho)
