hi, i have a question of the legality of a name+$ucks.com sites as a method of 'venting' on a company or name that you have 'issues' with. a while back, i read of a guy that registered the domain "somedepartmentstoresucks.com" (i forget the name of the store) and he was sued by the department store, but i never read what happened to him, or what came of the verdict.

just curious...

Well, there's a site called PayPalSucks.com, I think that Paypal went after them but somehow the site is still up

Assuming that it is a trademarksucks.com then it's very borderline-

To stand a chance of keeping the name I'd suggest you do the following:
1- clear disclaimer about the purpose of the site
2- make sure there's nothing that could be viewed as commercial use (e.g. Google Ads)

Did you post in the legal issues forum too?
