P.s NPs can someone kindly explain how the following tool works: archive.org, i'm a bit confuse using it.

Regarding domaining, you can see how a site looked in the past
It helps a lot to check if a domain you're interested in had quality content or bad content or anything that could lower the general quality of the domain.

for example, let's say you wanted to buy a domain momsworld thinking it would be nice for anything related to babies, maternity etc.
You could check archive and found that it was used with adult content... domain wouldn't be very appealing afterwards, correct?
