Hello Mods and Mems,
Anyone who knows me personally can confirm my love for
"The Sweet Science" and those that dance the dance in
the "Squared Circle".
I love boxing.
I admire the work ethics it takes to become a good boxer.
I know about the heart it takes to get up when the bell rings
to start the last round.
It takes courage and determination.
Some will call it a brutal sport, animals fighting over a purse or a crown.
But it is much more than this. So much more.
I believe one man personified the beauty of boxing more
than any other in the history of the sport.
This man defined "Poetry in Motion".
Someone stole a bike from a 12yo kid in Louisville, Ky and started
the boxing career of "The Greatest of All Times"....
Muhammad Ali.
I found a couple sites today I want to share with our younger members
that may or may not have heard of him, and with older members
that remember who he is, where he came from and what he accomplished.

Say what you will about the antics, self promotion, and brashness of this
young, uppity, Olympic Gold Medal winner in 1960....
But inside was a man, a man to be respected, a man of his word and beliefs.
This man has given far more than he has taken from this world,
and that my friends, is what it is all about.
Here are a couple of quotes:
You lose nothing when you fight for a cause.
In my mind, the losers are those that dont have a cause they care about.
-Muhammad Ali
Service to others is the rent you pay for your room here on earth.
-Muhammad Ali
Death is the tax the soul has to pay for having a name and a form.

Peace,
