the future will be good perhaps..for the registries! the registry is the domainer of new gtlds. they keep the best names, make people pay premiums, premium renewals, etc.

the registries will always make the best sales with new gtlds.

Porn.com VS Porn.live which one is more appealing; and not sounds dead.

Knowing the seller is important because it tells you whether or not there is an aftermarket. If all big gTLD sales happen by the registry and not by domainers then there is no real aftermarket. And that's the situation as it stands today. Regrettably.
