.tv The Future Value of .tv names

So what are all your thoughts on what some of your best .tv domains will be worth in 2 years? I know we all usually ask for appraisals where appraisers generally give their opinions on the current value of domains, but I thought it would be fun to speculate about the future

I'll go first with some of my own favorites from my portfolio:

invite.tv - $5,000
appearance.tv - $3,000
digitalpicture.tv - $2,000

Right now I have nothing to base these numbers on other than a wild guess. So, appraise some of your own favorite .tv domains 2 years in the future!

Nice to know that you appraised news.tv at 50, do you own it? If you do and you appraised it at that price, very pathetic.

Or if you do not own the name but wanted to have that name at that price, thats a different story.

but in Russian do they call "Tv"... well.. tv? I'm sure they have another word for it, which also has its own short form. who knows.. but the creator of this thread asked for future thoughts about your domain value, if you paid $50 now chances are it's probably going to go up in the future as demand increases.

Guys do you really think that naked domain name with out the content and visitors will have any value? I think we can make this happen right now.

I called to Verisign and told them that I would like to resale .tv in Russia for that I need ru.tv They even didn’t want to negotiate over that domain. Do they really care about .tv?

Future value? who knows? It depends on the success of the extension. Some I am sure I will regret buying but there are worse TLD's to put your $ I think!

naked domains certainly have value, most domains that sell are domains alone and not websites.

What did you offer Verisign for RU.tv they will not go below $1,000

Your caribbean stud domains are TYPOS--Not sure if you realize that. 'Caribbean' has ONE 'r' and TWO 'b's'

I think news.tv so far is the best of the lot and I feel it is already worth far more than 50 bucks.
