Don't ya just hate it when you're after a name that drops in a couple of hours and Snapnames won't load or let you log in :'(

I just tried for over an hour and a half to buy a name that was in auction and only managed to login 10 mins before the auction ended.

AHHHHHH - don't ya just hate that ! :tri:

I got it in the end though ....better than an organism :p

I hate when I think that I've registered a really good name , to look down and realize that I have misspelled it after I've registered it. I triple check everytime now

i rely on godaddy's "we cancel domains regged by idiots" 5 day clause all the time...

I hate it when I see start ups like GodTube.com receive 30 million in funding when it would take no little than 5 decent NameProers to do the same thing. How many youtube clones have we seen come and gone? how many developers are here? how many solid domain names people are trying to sell for $10K+ and finally how hard would it be to have a few scours searching the web for reglious (or other) type vids?

It's all in THIS community. Nobody get's it. It's funny. Everyone wants to be rich but nobody wants to help or become involved with the next guy.
If you want a youtube clone, you do not need any help from other people, you can just buy a prepackaged youtube script and you will have your own youtube clone up and running as easy as buying a meal at McDonalds. This ease of access to youtube scripts is part of the reason there are so many thousands of clones already out there. I believe some youtube scripts are even free.

So if think about the endless competition to smother you, godtube did well!

What I hate more than anything is that whenever you make a few nice domain sales in a short period of time, a major appliance always dies/you get a really bad toothache/your car decides to stop running/etc. :yell:

I think I hate, probably most of all, when ppl crash threads with mindless rigmarole or posts made only to defend themselves :( If you have a belief, feel free to voice it but don't bitch if ppl don't see your views in the same light.

Something similar: I sold a NNL.com for about $230 awhile back... I've seen similar sell for early $x,xxx on SEDO :|

I hate it when my pool auction is running while I am at work and could not get access to it.

that's why I quit my day job.
Who started this thread, grouchy smurf?

I hate it when.....

............ I spent 3-4 hours bidding on a TDNAM name, finally winning it, and it gets reclaimed.

............. I make an offer for a group of names, I get a counter offer, I accept his price, the a$$h0le then says its "not for sale", then tries to sell me other names. You know who you are.

........... I see reputable members trying to sell names that are peaking, and then ask 7 years revenue after only showing the last 3-4 days of traffic and revenue.

............ I see "premium domain 4 sale" , click the thread link and the name is $hit.

............. I see a great name that gets sold and I look at the original posting date and it was lass than a week old. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I hate it when you spend 2 weeks negotiating to buy a particular domain in a private sale - you finally reach agreement with the seller - then the seller just disappears, stops responding, and doesn't complete the deal....grrr

Don't you hate it when you're bidding in a Sedo auction....You're the high bidder for a reasonable price....It gets down to 1 minute & you reckon you've got it in the bag....then...some bugger pops up, and bids you right out of it....(fair enough, of course - but, I just hate that...:))

Don't ya just hate it when ..you sell the a domain for only $XX and the buyer have no idea about transferring domain and demand he want his domain without giving an information to transfer the name. (Perhaps noobs)

Very frustrating

But when you sell a domain between $XXX - $XXXX everything seems to run smoothly.

Dont you hate it when youve just sold about 20 LLLL.com to a respectable domainer than find out the next morning that PayPal chargedback the $ and the domainers accounts were all compromised and your left with no domains and no money....damn good times!!!
