The Case of the Missing Domain

I recently sold guh.us. It shows up as being registered at enom and thatI had renewed it a little over a month ago. However, it is not showing up in my enom acct and Registerfly, is the only enom reseller I can recall using.

1)What are some of the other large enom resellers where the domain might have gotten hidden. 2) Has anyone ever had a problem w/ a domain not being listed in an enom acct. I have a feeling I bought the name and it stayed at the enom reseller where it was when I purchased it but, this it's peculiar to not be able to locate a name that I am listed as the registrant for, nevertheless.

I recently cleaned out my email and must have tossed any registrar contact info because it's not showing up in my searches. Thanks. (I have a feeling that I'll get it figured it out, right after posting this) :red: :D

It should be at registerfly... I used their Reseller Information Retrieval Tool.

To access this tool, simply log-out of your enom account, and click help.

Down a bit on the left side you will see the tool and where you can submit a domain to see what reseller it's at.

I have no idea where it would be since you have obviously already checked your Registerfly account, and this tool shows it is indeed registered with registerfly.

Perhaps you should give them a call?

Bing-binbbingbing-Bing-binbbingbing You are now entering the...

Thanks- I tracked it down via a look-up of the whois of who registered the name server domain. Names4Ever is where the domain is registered- they must be an enom reseller.

What is even more bizarre, however, is that I could have sworn that after my first search the name was listed on the Sedo DNS, in fact, I pulled the url up to look and it resolved to a Sedo page. Next time I look, NS.Fastpark.net show up. Geez! I think I must be in the freakin Twighlight Zone or something today.

Glad that you figured it out!

It's odd that the domain locator tool was incorrect, as well.

I haven't even heard of Names4Ever, nor would I probably do business with a reseller with that name, as it's simply too hard for me to remember. ;)

I wouldn't have gone out of my way to register a name specifically w/ them either.
I'm sure I purchased the name from someone who had it registered there and had auto renewal on or the name went a day or two past expiration and I renewed it there or something like that. Otherwise it would now be in my enom master account.

However, this is getting weirder by the second. names4you.com is now a redirect to aplus.net. Maybe they are now aplus.net- gotta figure this out , as well as, WTH to go to access the name so that I can transfer it to the buyer. I had planned a push but that isn't looking to promising ATM. I rec'd no notice from Names4Ever that their company was going to be turning into a parked page. The name is still under my name and at enom so this will resolve, but what a strange one this has turned into! :alien:

From my understanding you can push a domain from a enom reseller, directly to an enom main account, without charge.

If you can actually figure out what's going on, and locate the registrar, perhaps you can get it simply pushed to your master account, and be able to complete the sale.

I hope you get this figured out, as I see that it is indeed a very frustrating situation.

Funny, but this time around it's less a matter of frustration and more one of puzzled amusement. I think domain name dealings have finally broken me down and put me into prosac state w/o the prosac, :) :) :) , although, that or Zoloft or something else along that line, might be the missing ingredient that I have been looking for.

I finally got around to looking at your list, Grrilla, and that was one I was considering, D'oh! Glad to see you sold it though. I am considering a couple more off you're list, I'll let you know if I decide on them.

As far as Names4Ever, if it is in fact Aplus.net now, I know from past (horrible) experience that you will have to contact them directly to transfer the name to another owner. Although, it was free (at the time). That's been a while back though and it was the only time I've dealt with them, so they've hopefully made things a little easier now.

Good Luck
