I don't expect this legal climate to remain the same for long though. One crack in the shell is that Nevada is allowing casino operators to offer online gaming to their customers within the confines of their property. Not sure if any casinos are doing it yet since I 'm not a customer. Also, the US is losing in international courts regarding the efforts to stop foreign online gambling operations from servicing US customers even though gambling is legal in the US. While an international court can't force the US to comply, they can allow a foreign govt to infringe on some US rights, sort of a tit for tat, you spit in my eye and I get to spit in yours. One possible target is to allow copyright infringement on US products like movies and music. It may not come to this because I feel once the US figures out how to tax online gaming they will allow it, just too much money for those greedy politicians to pass up IMO.
