>>I know it's a bit hard to pronounce, but I feel it's a good name<<
Heh that's an understatement!
Forget the fonts and ancient texts, the cell phone market is it's biggest potential IMO.
While the US is a much bigger market than the UK, in the UK virtually EVERYONE under 30 is familiar with 'texting'. It appears that's all kids know how to do these days, they certainly don't use their phones to actually talk. 'Top Ups' for texts are now an expected part of pocket-money. Phone calls, both mobile and landline are expensive over here, which is probably why texting is so widespread, especially amongst the young.
Now if one of those huge cell phone companies were to buy that addy, they'd have real potential to corner the market for texting. You'd probably have to push for it, or get a broker to approach one of these companies to outline the possibilities. Personally I'd be hunting down the CEO or marketing manager of someone like Virgin Mobiles (one of Richard Bransons companies) and letting them know it's up for auction. Or get a broker to do it, if they take commission only after a sale.
I'm excited for you. You've got a real BIG one there. Don't sell to a reseller unless you really need the cash, because while you could get 20-50k I think you will cry if in a years time you see it go for 500-1000k. I would!
That domain needs to be put before the right people, with the vision to see it's worth and you could have the brass ring.
Of course this is just my opinion and I'm not experienced at this. I just think as an end user, and of possibilities. But I could be talking through my rear end.
Whatever you do with it, you'll not be poor. :imho:
