Obviously best use is with an SMS angle.

Text.com sold for 300k in 2007.

The plural devalues it significantly for me from text.com so I'm gonna say $100k - $175k

Not sure though - it's the sort of thing that too expensive for a reseller sale, but could go for high $xxx,xxx (etc) to an end user. So it's a bit hard to value - but basically "High end user potential" is a good way to value it IMO

Text.com is in another league IMO. Texts.com is still a great domain, but the term is a little awkward.

Personally I think it is worth $25K - $50K reseller.

I think most people are pretty much bang-on here! I would say $75K +/- $10K.

In my opinion, the ideal end-user would be a company selling/publishing textbooks. Textbooks would be a better name, but this is a close second IMHO.

"Old Days"premium names like this are nearly impossible to casually 'appraise'. Whenever one pops up on the appraisal forum, people tend to go a bit bonkers with their appraisals. The best you can do is throw your line out there and see what bites. Be patient. A large portion of it's sale price will be determined by how fast you want to sell it. This name is absolutely a candidate for a premium, real world live auction.

Yeah, text.com is ideal, but this is still a very valuable name. Matter of fact, given the progression of technology over the years ie text messaging, this name has a much higher relative value today than it would've some years ago (note- relative value. Obviously, given how premium domains have risen in value over the years, any good name is worth more today :D)
