Alright I'm thinking about making a new site with a partner of mine and it would be a golf and tennis related site. I play golf and tennis as my sports and love them to death. I feel if I could launch a site that had a built in store where u could order golf and tennis equipment. Also give some reviews maybe? I would also like to include a forum discussing various things about each sport, pros, tournaments, products, hot items, help area for your game. I have found a site golfandtennisworld.com and it has a affliate section where you could maybe develop a store into a site like the one im making https://signup.cj.com/member/brandedPublisherSignUp.do?air_refmerchantid=1169237.

Do you guys think its a good idea to generate some profit and try to make a success with it? I would want it to have a great deal of advertisemnts to make some solid profit on it in the long run.

I just need some input is it possible and would it be a good idea?

Well typically you only put minimal to no advertisements on an ecommerce website, because you don't want to annoy your visitors, who you are trying to purchase something. I think like anything, it has some great potential, but will definitely need a good domain name, and perhaps some promotion. If you are really interested in making a profit, you may want to locate a dropshipper for tennis and golf, and then maximize your profits even more. Good luck!

i play golf a little bit, the problem you have is that golf balls and tees and things like that will probably go ok golf clubs on the other hand before you purchase them you need to see how they feel and weigh etc
possibly bags and buggies may go ok depending on price and shipping costs

just a thought i wouldnt mind seing the site though if/when its finished

I'm a bit confused on the whole dropshipper idea. I understand your point on affliating with someone but do you have any recommendations for companies that would support golf and tennis?

How about a listing about Golf sites?

Like there are these golf centres here and these are their charges hourly or per game, etc.

Entire portal would do.

Hey!

I am not sure how much you know about droppshipping, but I will try to explain it. It is basically when a manufactor offers you their product at a very low price, and then you can sell it for however much you want. It cuts out the middleman, and they will handle the shipping, customer service, and everything that needs to be done. I'm not sure of any specific company, but it will probably be easier to find one golf dropshipper, and one tennis dropshipper. If you want me to explain it further, I will give it a shot, just let me know...
