Teen Zone ~ NP$ for posts?

As the break room has NP$ for posting, I think the teen section should do =)

We get some really interesting discussions in there, and having some NP$ as well, i feel would really get people interested :hearts:

I never really noticed that you didn't get NP$ for posting in the Teen Zone just until now :D I don't think the NP$ for posting in the Teen Zone really matters :D but still a good idea :tu:

i think the logical thing to do, would be to equate the teen zone with the "Adult Break Room" on adultdevelopers.com. if np$ are given for posts in that forum, then it only would seem fair to give them to post in the teen forum, if they arent, then it would be unfair.

I agree that there might be some good discussion in teen zone but I don't know as I haven't visited it yet but if NP$'s were to be rewarded for posting in that forum, I except to see lot of flooding/unnecssary posts. Bad Idea :imho:

Is that a threat to me.. or the potential Teen Zone posters? I simply stated I disagreed with your opinion.

The fact of the matter is, there's enough kids (and adults alike.. I'll give you that), that come to NamePros without any knowledge (or intention of learning about) the domain industry.

I've said it before in another thread, but these are the very same people who consistently post gibberish posts, and do the "NP deals" all the time (which is fine, but you should find other ways to contribute), without contributing to the forum. People like that, that take, take, take, from the forum, without giving something back, ruin communities.

If you enable teens to earn NP$ for posting in the Teen Zone, you'll get kids that are referred here, and are told to only post in the Teen Zone forum to make some quick "pocket cash".

It was a threat to the potential posters, and it was meant light heartedly daddypi :]

I can see your point, but from what i can see, the only teens that stay around here, and arent reasonably quickly banned, are those who take a real interest in the domain business (such as myself).

The teen zone, could, and should be a place for teens here to be able to converse, and really talk about issues important, and that will benifit the rest of us teens.

I just think, the promise of a little gift of an NP$, to let out a lot of feelings, will bring more teens to the area, and make them more interesting in talking, and will create a -very- close knit, teen community, which IMO, is -very- important for NamePros.
