Ok, so I got Qwest DSL a few months ago, and installed their modem and everything works fine. I still have my old dial-up service, too, as I wanted to keep the old email address going, and have a backup for my other (older) PC.
Well, the problem is, I can still receive incoming email through Outlook, but I can no longer send it out via Outlook. I get the following error:
The message could not be sent because one of the recipients was rejected by the server. The rejected e-mail address was 'xxxxxxxxxxx'. Subject 'Test', Account: 'mail.cybcon.com', Server: 'mail.cybcon.com', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '550 5.7.1 <xxxxxxxxxxx>... Relaying denied. Proper authentication required.', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 550, Error Number: 0x800CCC79
Can anyone help me with this issue? I didn't change any settings in Outlook, but something seems to have changed since the DSL switch.
Much appreciated,
Scott
