Webmail Question

I have been trying to configure my outlook since morning. I have successfully configured the sending part of it. However, I can't configure it to receive mails. I am using the correct mail servers, as the outlook shows connection, however it doesnt retrieve mails on the server. I asked my host for the ports and he said the default would do. But the 110 for normal incoming and 995 for SSL would just connect but won't retrieve. I need anyone who can help me here...

Being in your place, I'd change hosting provider as they must fix this issue.
I have seen some nice offers from hostingsource.com, their e-mail plans are resourceful and they are helpful if you have any problems.

I assume that is not the problem of your provider, but could be and if that does not willing to help you better change such provider. Can you please tell us more information about the issue.

Confirm your secure authorization boxes are not checked in the email set up via outlook. This might cause your issue.

Hmm I changed it to Incredimail, and they work OK, So I guess I'll stick to incredimail.

Does your host utilize cPanel?

Newer versions of cPanel have a section that can either: auto-configure your client, or provide directions on setting up that client.

If you go to the E-mail Accounts page, you can then click Configure Mail Client.

Thank You Everyone, but I changed from Outlook to Incredimail altogether. That seems to work much better.

You always can use thunderbird (amazing thing) or gmail interface as webmail

I suppose that you can use gmail web mail interface for your emails with no doubts. That is free of charge

Hey one more Question, in outlook, once I receive messages, is it possible that they be cleared off from the server?

They are. You can use option "Leave a copy on the server" in the settintgs

Outlook is the most used email program for business use. Epically as Windows Mobile communicates with it well.
