Gingeman , I think Stub must still be new to TDNAM. No offense Stub. :D
They all go to Snapnames, even the high priced ones. Trust me.
They do not go into a 30 redemption period as Stub said. By the time they reach TDNAM they are at the end of the redemption period. So, all he was saying basically happens before, with the last 17 days of the redemption period being the auction time frame. The first 10 days are when we bid and the last seven is when we are "waiting" to get the domain, if the original domain owner does not renew.
They also do not all have reasonable prices. In fact, some domains with NO traffic can be listed for thousands of dollars without any bids.
Also, many domains at XX,XXX are also sold by TDNAM, NOT individuals. If you search "Expired Auctions" only, you get NO individuals selling domains. These are all TDNAM expired, non paid domains.
My guess is that they are listed on SnapNames within a few days after not being bid on in TDNAM. It has always been that way. The exact number of days I do not know.
If I was forced to guess, it would be in seven days before it goes to SnapNames., b/c that is how much time is left after nobody bids before the original domain owner can renew before he loses it permanantly.
