I was wondering if anyone here knew what happened to names that never get a starting bid at tdnam? Often I see a name and the starting bid that godaddy have set is so high that it gets no bids...

i am only referring to the expired auctions.

What happens in these circumstances? Do they start the auction again with a lower start price or does bob keep it for himself? :D

Thanks

I have also "tracked" some of these high price expiring names (not resale). These seem to stay regged by Godaddy. Which to me seems like tasting...

I tried to call out Bob Parsons in his blog when he was badmouthing tasters and said he was basically doing the same thing, but of course he didn't respond to my comment.

OK, here is an example, bettinglinks.net, was at tdnam for $10 it went unbid for, it then didn't go to closeout, maybe someone can trace what happend to it, and that should tell the tale.

this is the point of my thread. I think this is happening too. If people with godaddy backorders are getting the name I have no issue with that, but I doubt they would let that happen...
