Taste and Drop - How's it done?

I'm still a Newbie in this industry, and I wanted to get into domain tasting (while it's still available ). I know about tasting, but what is the time limit for dropping and how do you actually drop a domain to obtain a refund? For example, on Godaddy I couldn't find anywhere how to drop a domain.

Hi John, I think to taste on godaddy you have to call them or contact them to cancel the domain name, Dynadot is the go for hand registration tasting, but you have to deposit a minimum amount before you can use them and the price is more costly unless you put in something like minimum $500, but the price grading is shown on the dynadot website (don't think you can get a refund either). The pro tasters have their own registries and scripts to automatically pick up the names, you could do this with enom, but as far as I know enom doesn't giove refunds. This tasting thing is going to be over real soon though, as I had a pool catch and release account and they have now closed their catch and release and are giving refunds of account balance to all catch and release people. Also moniker can do catch and you can delete domains but you have to contact them and I think the price they will give you is 0.20-0.25 cents per deletion (so with moniker is not free) you may be able to get them down cheaper though. Don't start deleting in a Moniker account without contacting them first though or they will charge you $1.00 a pop

Dynadot.
A deposit or $500 in purchases qualifies you for API access, but you can still register names and delete them for a credit (no refunds) even without reaching the $500 threshold.
