Here's the deal: I recently reg'ed a dropped domain through Dynadot and offered it to a pack of end-users. After none responded, I let the name drop and it got picked up immediately by a registrar named Black Ice Domains. Then, just yesterday, one of my domain prospects e-mails me saying he'd like to buy the name the name I chucked. Oops.
So, in deciding whether to bother putting in a $19 backorder at GoDaddy, I was wondering whether anyone happens to know whether Black Ice tends to taste domains or register them permanently. I know Vibrant Network and Maximum Internet taste, but not sure about Black Ice.
