T.R.A.F.F.I.C. Silicon Valley is coming up later this month.

I just reviewed the auction list over at Moniker and noticed I have one domain in the LIVE PREMIUM auction.

Who else has domains in the auction(s) and what does everyone think of the domains included? Is this a good venue to sell, based on past results?

I got 6 domains in the "extended auction" .. None in the "Live" this time.

Yay! I received an email yesterday saying 2 of my domains had been accepted into the extended auction - I'd forgotten I'd even applied so it was a nice surprise!

Not sure sure if they'll stand out in the crowd, but being No Reserve domains might help!!

Thanks.... hope everyone here makes at least 1 nice sale next week. This is the 1st time I have had a domain accepted for LIVE. I set the reserve pretty low so I hope to land a sale too.

Not a chance of that.

It may break a record on the downside though. I think they'll be hoping for one or two big sales to make it look respectable.

Realistically both these auctions are just full of overpriced names, names that in the main may have sold in 2007, and don't have a chance in today's market.

I have domains for the extended auction. Can I login somewhere and see if there are any bids on them?
Neither at my Snapnames or Moniker account is there a link to follow my domains that are in the auction.

Thanks for that link, I've had a hell of a time figuring out the site and where things are.

Also do you guys know about how they did the reserves? We have one name in the auction (top40/com) and the reserve isn't the number I had agreed to, it's higher than what I had set to to in discussions with Moniker by 17.66%.

Is this normal? is 17% the commission or something?

Same thing here, all the reserves are higher by about 18%, which I assume is the commission.
