Lots of pretty solid domains in there - should be a nice auction. I have 1 domain in it, Doma.in. Reserve range given is €20,001 - 100,000 but it's on the low end of that. Good luck to all sellers and bidders!

Good luck with Doma. In, not sure what that means in Indian but it may sell.........

There are two hacks made it in the list. That would be interesting to see the outcome.

Watchout at Latonas. I won a name there and paid right away but a couple of weeks later they said "sorry, it was a typo". Thats bad enough but they didnt seem to think they needed to refund my money! Now finally 4 months later my refund arrives!!! Better late than never I suppose.

Ouch. :( That's not good. At least you did get the refund, but that much of a delay certainly isn't very professional. Hopefully they avoid such delays in the future.

The auction is up and prebidding is now open: Proxibid

Only a very small handful of sold domains out of the many that have gone up so far! Some pretty poor domains with ridiculous reserves so no wonder very few have actually sold.

Piss-poor auction; terrible names, ridiculous reserves is right on. Talking.net was the only semi-decent "get" in my eyes.

Guess it is 2010 in Dublin but the domains and their prices were straight out of 2007.

I think it's probably the worse time in the last 20 years for selling Irish related domains.

Ireland is still suffering badly in it's current economic recession with a lot of businesses and jobs being lost on a daily basis.

Apart from dublin.net and perhaps dublinguide.com, the Irish orientated domains were, not to put too fine a point on it, overpriced. Most of the domains were overpriced.

About 80 miles away from it Gazzip.
It is but there are probably a few Dublin guide type sites that it would have to compete with.

I think this is pretty much the same story all around the western world at the moment, tough times ahead.

Yeah Dublin seems to do a really good job marketing itself with VisitDublin(c o m) and Dublin(i e). Dublin(c o m) is just a fancy parking page, I bet that gets alot of traffic though.

I just bought VisitCork(c o m) in a drop auction a few weeks back but there does'nt seem to be that many decent photos available on istockphoto :|

Do you know of any good places to get a good selection of related photos?

Thanks :tu:
