Hi,
I would like some info as to how you submit domains for consideration to be entered into the T.R.A.F.F.I.C. auction in NY.
I have looked on Moniker but cannot find anything other than the flash ad on the home page. Am I looking in the wrong place or just missing it?

I sent an email to moniker asking the same question but did not get a reply!

Any help on this would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Len.

Been Over a Week

I have asked for details on what the process is for the auction aswell with no response.

Maybe someone here can post their personal experience?

My questions would be the process for the submission.
Is it free to submit the name for consideration? Then what happens?

A step by step from personal experience would be really appreciated. Ill check out the link too.

Thanks in advance for the information.

It is free to submit your domains. If you domains are accepted, you will be asked to fill out a form that gives exclusive listing rights to Moniker to sell the domain for 60 days. This means that Moniker is entitled to any commission on the domain during that 60 day period (even if you sell the domain yourself in that time). Once your domains are accepted and you turn in your exclusive listing form, your domains will be in the auction. Closer towards the event, Moniker will decide which domains will be in the live auction versus the silent auction. Note, most domains will be in the silent auction, while it is difficult to get your domain included in the live auction.

So with moniker getting exclusive rights to the sale do you have to remove the domain from other listing e.g. Sedo etc?

You don't have to remove the listing from Sedo, but just keep in mind if the domain sells at Sedo, you still are legally required to pay Moniker its commission.

I just spent an hour reading a thread today, tell you what I learnt about the 60 day exclusivity clause. After you have finished with the 60 days its automatically renewed!!! Its upto you to cancel the renewal by sending them an email and getting reply. It`s in there TOS.

Good Information

Now that was some pretty good and useful information.

I did get some information back today and it was bang on. They leave it up to you to read the terms and conditions. I think since I have started in the domain realm I have read all the terms and conditions.

Thanks for keeping at the forefront. I think I will post the domains. .. .

Does anyone else feel this sudden sadness for the possibility to lose the domains you have. . . .

I wish that I had the time and knowledge to develop them all. . . .

:loveyou: Bye Bye Domains. . . . . :red:
