I can't believe this was sitting around just waiting for someone to reg. Am I the only person who looked over todays drops and thought it worthy of spending $8.00? Another reason i liked it could be that I have been eating lots of cakes lately, and have eyed a few of these Swiss rolls in the bakery department. So now I can have my Swiss Roll without the calories. I think I'll just put up a holding page and see what type of type ins it gets. What do you guys think I should do with it?

There's always room for both on my plate Tippy. I see a few of the other extensions are taken, only one's being used. Who knows, maybe something will happen with this, thanks for all the feedback guys.

Swiss Roll

3 eggs
3oz caster sugar
3oz plain flour
1 tbsp warm water

Serves 4-6


Whisk eggs and sugar together until mixture is thick enough to retain trail of whisk.

Lightly fold in sifted flour, using metal spoon.

Line swiss roll tin 30 x 22.5cm (12x9 in) with greased paper.

Add the warm water to the mixture and pour into tin.

Bake: 375 F 15-20 mins
(or) 200°C 15-20 mins

When cooked turn out on sugared paper on top of wet tea towel.

Quickly trim edges, spread with warmed jam, and roll up,
sprinkle with fine sugar.

This names goes against every bit of my better judgement, and was bought purely becasue I'm a cake fanatic. Pure conversation Domain with no value other than to pull a fast one on my friends. I think I'm going to put together a hostess cakes site and a picture of me eating one of their swiss rolls, print a fake check for 10K and start a load of bulls**t at the next party. This should be funny, if I can find the time to put it together.
