Junk or worthy of reg fee?

I'm thinking about registering my first double hyphen. It is for great keywords, but I wanted to hear any experiences (SEO, type-in, sales) the NP community might have with these.

When I say double hyphen I mean a domain like Name--Pros.com

Thanks.

Those are two single hyphens. THe term double refers to something like--this.com

The point has been made that you probably wont get much type in traffic, also its a pain to type in hyphens so your user base will be somewhat diminished.

But, in the world of domaining, a lot of the premiums are taken up, and so peoples last restort is to using poor domain names, which is why I posit some of thehyphenated names get the sales that they do.,

According to namebio:

h--d.com sold for $88
k--k.com sold for $69
s--s.com for $81
