Swetha just announced the sale of Operator.xyz for $40,000. It looks like an Afternic broker helped close the deal. https://t.co/7Zybst5JBm sold for $40000 @Afternic Thanks to my rep Mason Goecke and the broker.#AI #ArtificialIntelligence #domains #domainnames #startup #startups #venturecapital #defi #technology #cryptocurrency #DAO #blockchain #crypto #bitcoin๐Ÿ“ท๐Ÿ“ท #ethereum #btc๐Ÿ“ท๐Ÿ“ทโ€ฆ pic.twitter.com/g0tjCOlTSf โ€” Swetha.xyz (@DomainNameGear) December 10, 2024

You can have any opinion.. It's just that - Opinion.

To call someone a fraudster, do you have ANY evidence to back your claims? And, every second registry has premium domains now.

Her Material evidences: Afternic screenshots, Sales validated by Namebio, Many sold domains developed into Websites doing business.

Your Material evidence: ?

Just because you can't replicate someone's (someone you believe as inferior to you) success, you are accusing of fraud. That's the sad reality! You missed the xyz train. Simple.
Do you realise she also has over a 1000 .pro names?

When they start selling (some already have btw) are you again going to cry "fraud!" then?

No, it's not normal even if you own 200,000 domains.
Swetha is the XYZ registrar's accomplice.
All these domains do not belong to her/him.
He or she "sells" them occasionally and reports "sales".
To avoid other domainers buying a large amount od XYZ domains, the XYZ registrar makes the rest of the keyword domains premium.
This way, nobody here can say "Wait, I also own 20,000 domains but get no offers"
If she owned 20000 .co names, would you still say ".Co registrar makes the rest of the keyword domains premium. This way, nobody here can say "Wait, I also own 20,000 domains but get no offers"
?
(Given that .co dictionary words, 3L and 4L are almost all registry premium)

What if... what if... What if...
There is no any "what if..."

I agree with most of you, she is probably backed up by someone, most interesting is that @Afternic never came to say true or false. But as always it does not matter the hype, the most interested parties are the registrars/registries, to make money on hand regs/renewals.
So when I see big sales I m enticed to go reg similar domains, which i did many times, and that is what they want us to do.
Anyway it will come the time that I will begin selling my domains, and many will question "how such is possible" then I will remind them all my topics and replies so they get the idea, on how I got into this.
Soon I will be Domain God and hope to be the most important human on earth! :glasses:

I can't find it, but there is a post of one guy who a few years ago registered 20,000 XYZ domains at 1 cent per domain. And he sold nothing. Could somebody find that post?
This is a good example to show how only Swetha's domains get sold.

Also, let's make calculations: let's say Swetha had 5000 domains before (s)he started to "sell".
5000 domains x 10 USD = 50,000 per year in renewals.
Yes, each poor Indian girl has 50,000 each year to spend on the renewal of domains with spam reputations.

He can sell them to Swetha ๐Ÿ˜†

hey bro I got good shit
just not 20k of it

fido
passports
hoodie
etc

meanwhile she sell way worse for 100k. so of course it's normal to wonder what up.

even Mozart I dropped yrs back sold 10k by someone later ... but still not 100k

10k for good xyz is ok

100k is too much

xyz is not high end

and like others say xyz wasnt even on any radar and selling for 5 bucks a few year back then suddenly 5 to 100k

then people wonder why people wonder

Yes, each good 1-word keyword is worth something, even XYZ, even TOP, even CLUB, etc.
From a few bucks to even 1,000 is ok.
Maybe some words even more.
But not 50,000 and higher, especially if the sold domains are not highly evaluated keywords (like mortgage, credit, crypto, etc).

BTW, I just donโ€™t get why the "fan club of Swetha" keeps saying that those doubting Swethaโ€™s sales are just jealous of her/him. But what exactly am I supposed to be jealous of?
20,000 domains x $10 = $200,000 in yearly renewals.
With expenses like that for "maintaining" a domain collection, poor Swetha must be starving.

Swetha is a beautiful and meaningful name of Sanskrit origin, signifying 'white,' 'bright,' or 'radiant.'
Swetha is predominantly a feminine name, rarely used for boys.
Swetha is often perceived as a graceful and elegant name, carrying connotations of beauty, intelligence, and virtue.

A name, a guarantee.
:xf.rolleyes:

Well maybe @Equity or @DomainNameWire can interview someone at these Crypto companies and ask them what motivated them to spend big amounts on xyz as opposed to com like previous interviewees (Raymond/Andrew ?)...

Don't blame the seller

Maybe you should interview at least part of Swetha's "buyers" and ask them what motivated them to pay 50k-100k for domains with a spam reputation.
Oops, I forgot, there is nobody to ask.... because there are no buyers

I've seen frivolous purchases for much more money. Money is relative and motivation is subjective.
