Anyone else out there getting bombed with their stupid auto-gen emails announcing whenever a singular or plural of a name you own is about to drop?
I've gotten three emails from them in the past few days on different names...
You then click on a link where you're asked to 'make an offer' on a name that they don't even own.
Obviously, they then take this information from Clueless End-User who offered whatever, put in a bid with the catchers and pocket the difference between what the end-user 'bid' and what it cost them to acquire it.
Interesting, I don't know how I feel about the ethics of it all, but I do hate obnoxious spam, of which they seem to be generators of. I'm sorely tempted to start making bogus 'bids' every time they send me an email, then get in the backorder auctions myself and bid up the names. I'm sure after winning a few four-figure names on behalf of fictitious end-users that never existed in the first place, they'll probably get the point.
