Ok I see now why this domains sold, so maybe they are not fake, there were websites before, I wonder what is the Godaddy tactic?
Maybe what others told in other topics, that Godaddy sells them back at a higher price to their owners?

Whatever the situation is - it's dirty. Obviously, the previous registrants for the top selling domain should have kept up on their domain registration, but what a nasty thing having someone come in and try to buy it to extort them for money. According to OpenCorporates, there is only one company listed with that name.

I'm curious - anyone know what would have happened if that business name was trademarked for BBQ sauce/food PRIOR to letting the domain expire? (as far as I can tell, it wasn't)
If someone else bought it at expiring auction like this, could the owner of the trademark and business file a UDRP and have a good chance of getting the domain back? (considering this is a very specific name with BBQ at the end)

@jberryhill would they have had a potential case if they had a prior trademark?

If a domain has existing back links it is extremely valuable for SEO people who know what they are doing.

Lots more money to be made building out your own site compared to selling the domain back to the owner.
