Just a note to any ND account holders. I've experienced a problem and surprising reply from Ed at namedrive. You may want to check your payout email address.

I will say first that they, ND, corrected the problem VERY quickly but also insulted me just as prompt.

Please note, in 08-15-06, a payment of $$$.$$ was sent to a [email protected] ([email protected]) address that does not belong to me. I have not recieved this payment.

I'm not sure why the paypal email was in my account but I have changed it to
reflect the correct email address to be used for payments. Please only use;

Please resend the payment to [email protected]. For I have never received this payment. Please do NOT USE any other email address.

Do you also find it strange that the address was a "paypal.com" address? I do not work for paypal. Also when Paypal refused the payment and it was returned to you did you find that strange? Or did you just keep my money and shut your mouth?

Regardless the amount you should have emailed me ([email protected], my sign in email) once the funds were rejected by paypal. But you chose to silently keep the funds and now you want to imply my actions as strange. You would think your records would reflect the facts and that I am correct. Did you check your records or is it ND style to steal money and insult members first?

Strange is that Name Drive did not use my email of record to contact me and tell me my payment had been returned to them. Then to insult me for bringing it to your attention. heh Your right....this is strange!

Now , I'm not sure how the wrong email was added as my ND payment addy. Clearly it was a mistake on some ones part ..... but for Ed to imply it be "strange" on my part to simply notify ND that a payment entended for me was never recieved is simply an insult.

NameDrive could have simply used my sign up email to contact me and notify me my payment was returned to them.....but they did not ...... strange?

With all the problems with PayPal scams I need to have more confidence in the companies I deal with than to overlook something like this. ND should have given me and paypal a "heads up" IMHO.

Also I would like to say to Ed about his comments to me.
Perhaps you mean well but to imply strange actions on my part is cause for me to close my ND account. Not contacting me after my payment was returned to you is the only thing STRANGE about this!

I will apologise for my retorts but I was upset with the implications.

"NameDrive.com did not steal any money from me" A prompt payment was made to correct the problem. (RV)

There should be a mistake by you or their software or human error.

glad to hear they paid you in the end. is this the first/only payment you've received from nd, were past payments sent to the right pp address, etc?

Yes they paid very quickly... thats why I was suprised to get the comments with a follow up email.

I wonder what is policy for returned payouts? I'll have to do some tiny reading.
