Super Mario Portal - www.marioportal.com - selling domain, site w/ full content and all associated parts.
Site Information
Super Mario Portal was formed in September 2001 and was originally just about Super Mario World, as it was my favourite all time Mario game, with my free time due to college etc the site got pretty big and is undoubtedly one of the biggest and most complete (if not the biggest) of all the Mario sites. There is a massive fan-interest, and even though it's being known we stopped taking submissions due to me not having time to add stuff at the mo due to work changes, we still receive fan art, fan comics, fan games and fan fiction on a daily basis from people all over the world (Mainly America and Canada I believe).
A brief outline of the sites content: There are over 10,000 pages including any form of content from Mario games old and new in the form of reviews, cheats, storylines, screenshots, screensavers, fonts, wallpapers, fully illustrated walkthroughs, sprites, maps, TV series information, articles, the Mario a to z (an encyclopaedia of every Mario character, item etc with pictures), manuals, faq's, box art, saved games, item lists, enemy lists, TV commercials, character bios, Nintendo history, the creator of Mario bio and a massive amount more, check for yourself on www.marioportal.com.
We have affiliations (link exchanges) with every worthwhile Mario site out there (even though there aren't that many anymore) and are also placed *cough* sad that ive used it.... *cough* #1 in the Mario Top 50 list, despite being a year behind some sites in it, and #1 in the Nintendo Top 50 top list. The sites design was made entirely by myself, and a lot of the fan section by the sites staff past and present. The site is a member of the vgamin press at www.vgamin.com where free resources such as artwork and trailers and news releases are available for new titles.
The domain is paid for until August 2007. The running costs are around ยฃ90 GBP per year. The domain comics.marioportal.com is also included in this sale.
Forums
Although the forums were hacked a couple of months back and were put back up in June there are already over 10,000 posts and 250 members. The forums are moderated by 3 guys from the states.
Updating
In the early days hour upon hour was spent updating the site, however having been worked on so long the site is now pretty much complete and the largest task is adding previews of newer Mario titles (which there aren't a giant amount of).

Revenue
Although this site was never intended as a profit maker and was more to provide a resource for Mario games, the site brings in around $90 a month, this was previously a fair bit more, but the site unfortunately went down from Jan to June. On top of this, due to the popularity and size of the website, we've been able to obtain various review copies of games from Nintendo PR dept (Including newer gamecube titles), and a whole bag of freebies (keyrings, t shirts, caps, stickers) on occasion, which was pretty nice..

Registered on loads of search engines from the little ones, to the foreign ones, but the main ones are below, any other questions regarding search engines please don't hesitate to ask, being rather naive in the past I even used various "Submit your site to thousands of search engines" crap.

I'm a little disappointed I didn't decide to sell earlier this year when the site was at 1,500 unique visits per day and $180 a month from Google Adsense as I'm sure I could've got a fair bit more for it... but oh well here goes
Hope someone can keep it up to date like I used to, having changed career I now simply don't get a free moment to sort it.
