.mobi Summer 2009

Question: Will something/anything of substance occur with the ".mobi" this summer ... and, if so, what?!?

Just a quick update ... my running, golf, travel, beloved Red Sox (Openning Day next Monday!), spring cleaning with festive BBQ's and all beach activities are all starting up ... and although I'll be checking in here from time-to-time, I likely won't be posting unless something meaningful and with actual substance occurs with the ".mobi" and/or mTLD - I think most, if they were to be honest, would agree that 2009 has been mostly a bust thus far for the extension! :red: :imho:

I have also been recently presented an potential opportunity in which I've mentioned in a couple of my recent posts here in the .MOBI Forum™:
On a somewhat related matter ... I may soon be discussing, and more specifically blogging, on some of these same matters as they relate to the small ".MOBI" niche, alternative extensions such as the highly brandable .TEL (as well as new gTLD's; including the highly memorable .WEB), and the greater Mobile Web™ in general - some pretty exciting stuff and ongoing concepts / recent developments ... if the stars all line up properly ... in which I hope to be making an announcement shortly! :gl:

Negotiations and discussions etc. are currently underway, and while I can't yet get in to any details or specifics ... it's a very busy & intriguing possible propostion IMHO. :talk:

Anyway, to dear friends and Roseys™ alike, have fun this spring and summer ... stay cool and out of trouble ... and for those developing their own stand-alone unique and compelling ".mobi's", keep up the good work! :yell:

I think that most can also agree that 2009, all 3 months!, have been a bust for every extension, bank, stock portfolio, retirement plan, etc., etc.. But you go on and make it like only .mobi has been affected..

Nothing ... in the context of domains, has fallen more precipitously than the 90% - 95%+/+ for the struggling and unknown ".mobi", IMHO.

As I posted earlier - as yet unanswered - in the ".MOBI / .TEL" thread: :gl:

Question for discussion purposes:

Would the ".INFO" be an effective extension, or brand, for accessing corporate or general information on the Mobile Web™ by those that are "on the go" ... assuming it was developed and had the same components, including "trustmark", as the ".MOBI"?!? :blink:
IYHO's.

If not, why? Please be specific. :gl: :talk:
