I, too, like PropertyListings.mobi ... and I love your ideas for its development (though one thing holding it back, potentially, is that it's so generic that it's unlikely that ALL actual property listings can be on one site (say, versus regionalized property listings domain names / websites), IMHO. Do you see what I mean? :gl:

If not planning on developing ... there is someone right now in the .MOBI Marketplace looking for good, solid Real Estate domain names (and proll'y .MOBI Lover™)! :p

I filed (2) provisionals this year so far. One I am fast tracking to full app. within the next month. They may or may not get approved (in about 3 years) but in the mean-time they add alot of weight when negotiating a deal, or sale.

You know that biz, and those names are prime for it. I also like PropertyListings, and went hunting for it early. Even checked recently to see if maybe...,.

I think appraising is still too early to do so.

I would think that all properties for sale these days are most likely held in databases. I suppose though the herculean task would be to somehow make it profitable for those who own those databases to want to have them listed on such a site. Have you ever googled "housing"? They allow you to search by zip code for property listings and I think they are pulled from user submitted data. I'm sure there are massive gaps in their coverage today but who knows what the future holds.

Thanks cobo. Wish you well with your ideas too. If anything moves forward in the development arena, I may be in touch. About two days after I regged it, I "developed" a testing site at www.nonprofit.mobi to try incorporating a blog, a sponsor, and some links testing google local results. Never did anything more after that though.

This is definitely my absolute favorite. Mid to high xxx,xxx IMHO.

Now, there are those out there that will say that me owning Donors.mobi affects my objectivity, but I assure you that is not the case!!!

they have a trademark on "property maps realty search made a breeze"

interestingly they didn't register propertymap.mobi which is still available

they are apparently using gps to allow people to look at both rentals and for sale listings as they drive through a neighborhood with a gps device

very cool and very good for mobi

once again i see the importance of gps to the mobi domain
