I suppose there is a possibility to make this work using the stock market. NamePros Inc could purchase a small portfolio of stocks (perhaps domain name or technology related companies) as a long term holding. Users could deposit NP$ into a bank fund that would earn or lose value based on how the stock portfolio performed. Is this kind of what you had in mind, 0lgi?

The main difference is that at NamePros we treat our forum currency as having real monetary value. We couldn't just issue more NP$ because a stock went up, unless we had a real investment in that stock.
