So this is basically a SEO question -

Let's say I am developing free.com, and I am going to create different sites under that domain, such as "free ringtones," "free games," etc..

Would it better to use subdomains (ringtones.free.com, games.free.com), or subdirectories (free.com/ringtones, free.com/games) and what are the pros and cons of each method?

Thanks
