Sub-Domains Vs. Addon Domains

I am not looking to redirect to the same website. I am looking to have one account but share that account with other unique domains and each one of those domains will have it's own unique content. I know, I would have to share the resources in between.

Which one would be more important in my case, sub-domains or addon domain? (I dont understand the difference)

Thanks

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Go for add-on domains, since you plan to have different content on the sites....

A sub-domain would be like (www.)subdomain.yourdomain.com
but an add-on domain would work like any other domain www.yourdomain2.com
