This is both my first .tv aquisition and my first post (in nearly 1000) in the .tv area!

The name I have just aquired is stupidvideo.tv

Any thoughts on value?

While the name sounds "stupid", ha, I think you could develop it into a winner! With all the crazy videos nowadays on Google,and www.Youtube.com , this domain name could be developed along the same lines.

StupidVideos.com is rather popular and has been around for a long time. I think this domain could be quite successful, but I do not know if there are any TM isues between the existing site or not. Are these words generic enough to be used on seperate sites?

Thanks for your input both of you. I believe this is a generic term and would certainly contest any trademark allegations strongly. I think that it acheives its uniqueness through the .tv extension, which relates directly to the potential content. Anyone else any thoughts on where this might sell? Or how much? Like I said this is my .tv cherry popped. :o

I may even develop it if I can find a good/cheap/free script for it. Was thinking I would like it to be possible for users to upload there own clips, then possibly award a prize for the funniest/stupidest clip etc. Might land me in some trouble for being irresponsible though...never heard that one before :hehe:
