Is this alternative reliable? And how it compares to PayPal and E-Gold? The case is that I'm looking for e-mail payment system which is trustable and reliable. PayPal prohibits account creation for my country. At the moent I use E-Gold and iKobo.

Yes, StormPay is reliable, but their fees are outrageous (6.9% + 0.69) compared to PayPal's 2.9% + 0.30.

stormpay is good. ikobo was a good option for me before. moneybookers.com works great too.

Paypal isn't available in my country too, so I use Stormpay, and a lot of people in my country and other countries who can't use Paypal also use Stormpay as a second alternative.

You can have it sent as a check without extra fees for international regular mail, but I haven't tried that yet. I just spend the money online and use it to pay other people.

Personally i do not use StormPay now. As a script seller i'm sick of thier refund policy. A lot of users bough products frommy page with stollen stormpay money or they fill refunds and stormpay made charge backs not heard my point of view.
Now i use Egold,MoneyBookers and a shared PayPal account ( my contry not accetable by PayPal)

MoneyBookers seem to be scam. They run the whole process of registration and then just rejected my application because of the country I live in.

With Moneybookers you can send money from your credit card, transfer money to and from your bank account. With e-gold you can recieve payments in your account either by recieving payment in e-gold from another account holder or exchanging your national currency for e-gold using the services of an independent exchange service.

i dont want to argue or anything like that, i work for a bank (and not in a branch) basically its nothing to do with stormpay its visa/mastecard who are the1s that do the chargebacks in the end

Stormpay are pathetic. Once a buyer do chargeback on his credit card. You (the seller) will have the amount deducted *AND* you (the seller) has to pay stormpay $35 for the chargeback fee. This $35 is non-negotiable, and they will suspend your account if you do not pay.

Since this, I am still filing a complaint to both Rick and Trish who works for stormpay for not securing the payment properly, making me pay a $35 unreasonable fee, AND having me provided the product with $0 earning! Actually its -$35 for me. So basically, I have lost the product *and* $35!!!

NEVER accept payment in stormpay!

A good feature of 2checkout is it supports recurring billing. You need to pay a one time sign up fee of $49 after that, you only pay for sales. If you, sell nothing, you pay nothing. 2CO collects a 5.5% commission on each transaction plus a $0.45 charge per sale.

Has anyone of you folks considered opening elsewhere bank account and somehow tieing PayPal with that bank account (for example USA) ? Or opening offshore incorporation in some of the countries that allow fully featured (or allow withdrawing money) PayPal account? Paypal is not supported in my country(nepal). but we have India close to our country . so i created a bank account in India from where i withdraw my funds and its pretty simple to open a bank account in India.

Yep that was my point. And for how long do you use PayPal now, this way?
And when you signed up for PayPal account, you did choose as your country India, right? (Mail-address, phonenumber...what about those stuff)?
