Status Unavailable?/

I am trying to reg a name but.. when I try to.. It says "Status Unavailable" what does that mean?/

What TLD is this in? It could be a domain name on hold or what is considered a "premium" domain, at some registries you are required to buy this class of domain name directly from them.

It's a .Biz Domain name and when I check the status in the "Whois.Sc" it says domain available.. but when I type that in to buy at some registrar's websites.. it shows as "status not available" in one and in some "domain not available"

Don't understand what to do and where to buy?/

Well - Whois.sc is not live, so the domain name could have been picked up earlier in the day or even yesterday and it just isnt reflected at Whois.sc yet - I would try a few different Whois to see if the domain does come up with info - it very well may have been regged before you.

Okie I checked at Moniker's WhoIs and it says domain available.. But when I try to reg it at the same Moniker, it says name not available?/
