Eurodns not allowing all .asia names allowed by GoDaddy?

Hey,

I just had this doubt. Eurodns is not showing the status of some domain names as available. For example 'recipes.asia' seems to be unavailable when i check it on eurodns but when I try the same name on godaddy, i am able to apply. Why is this...? What database does eurodns use to check against available domain names and how come it is different from other domain name providers..?

recipes.asia has already been registered during the sunrise period or even earlier.

There is no way you can get it during the Landrush period.

hey.. then it should be standardised all around don't you think..? People registering at godaddy for those domains would be simply gifting them their money!

@hostingsearch: this is just an example there are lots of names like this.

yes, I just noticed this too. I was at EuroDNS and domainmonster. Look around for a new few .asia names. Found its not available in domainmonster but it was OK to register in EuroDNS. Sheesh. So deceiving.

I have also checked, Recipes.asia is not available now. Check with other registrars before preregistering, especially if it is non refundable.

Better register .asia at Moniker or GD. They will refund your 19.90 dollars. The cheap 6$ .asia price at other registrars are deceiving. You wont get a refund if they they fail to register your domain.
