ok my main question is parking all I know about really is "sedo" but iv read here that its not so good of a place, also by parking your domain is how you develop it? and how do you develop said domain?

also, other place's that I've read at said that ebay wasn't a good place to sell, that was the first place to come to my mind I just want to know people's opinion's!

anyways.. thank you for any help!

There are several ways to buy, sell , develop etc.. your domains. I'll try to cover several of them within this post. Some of my responses may be vague but I'm doing to to just provide you the meat instead of the filler.

#1 Development:

This typically means you are going to build the site out. Meaning higher a developer, create unique content, etc.. to sell products or services. You can also develop them as blogs, or a variety of other sites. This differs from parking though.

#2 Parking:

Parking is a parking lot that holds your domains for you while they are being developed. During that time the parking company will place a basic landing page with ad's on them for you,for free. This is not developing by any means. It's just a way for you to make some extra money in the meantime while developing your site. You make money by having people click on the links and sharing in the ad revenue. It's simple and great for beginners.

Selling:

There are several ways you can sell your domain names. I'll put together a few ideas (not a complete list)

1. Domain Forums: Typically they will have sections that you can post your domain names for sale.

2. Find end users: You can do this by searching the web for people who buy specific/niche domains. Pick up your yellow pages and start calling people the might be interested.

3. Who.is : You can look up the original owner of the domain and see if there is any interest in buying it back. If not you can ask them if they know of anyone who might be interested as well.

4. You can list it on different sales platforms:

Sedo.com, namedrive.com, internettraffic.com, etc..

These places are also parking companies so you can make some extra cash while trying to sell.

Hope this helps!
