Hello everyone,

Over time i have been getting more and more serious about web design. Now i feel i have had alot of customers and i have enough skill to start getting bigger. I am going to start my own portfolio site but i need suggestions. I also have no clue what the design should look like. So if you have any suggestions i would appreciate it alot if you could share them with me.

Thanks

What do you mean you need “suggestions”? Suggestions for the domain, the design, the content?

If you can’t easily make a simple portfolio website I don’t personally think that you have enough “skill” to get any bigger than you are now.

Im not trying to become a "huge" seller, i mean like designing a couple of designs ever 1-2 weeks for people... and by suggestions i mean design, content, and all that

Well, it needs to look great, has to be very good, so graphics, good logo etc.

Well, you can see a lot of really great portfolio sites around the net these days. And the most successful ones got that way because of the ingenuity and originality of the owner. When figuring out what kind of layout you want, try to come up with your own idea. If you have a consistent 'personal style' you use throughout your work, try applying it to your 'folio site. It can be dark and grundgy or light, with soft pastellated tones - it's up to you, whatever represents your work best.

The content of course would be previous examples of your work, short bio of you would probalby be good as well
