I am new to domaining and have registered an account at SquadHelp. I like that there seem to be several ways to earn $.
  1. enter names in contests
  2. white label a site and sell your own names
  3. submit names to squadhelp's Premium marketplace
My Question:

Does a newbie have even the slightest chance of having their submissions accepted onto the premium marketplace? I have submitted several names that I think are very well researched and branded. None have been accepted. I read a blog that suggested 25% of all Premium marketplace domains on SH are owned by only a few accounts. If this is true, then is SquadHelp even worth the effort?

Interesting question i have argued their definition of white label as it isn't really. A white label in theory would allow you to resell domains with own branding as you would expect a white label to be not just a page of your own domains with own branding. I call it parking.

All the brandable markets have a few people owning largest chunk of names, Brandbucket is no different. You of course have a chance once you know what sort of brandables sell at each market. Each is a bit different with slightly different audiences and tastes.

Bear in mind you are competing with 65K plus other names at SH, 100K plus at Brandbucket and so on. So competion is fierce and very low prices almost mandatory.

Study what is selling where before you dive in further and waste “coins” at SH and “credits” at BB. Same thing at each place. Brandpa you pay to list not for a review. Some are trying out Alter.

Regarding your rejections, if more than one market rejects they likely aren’t traditional brandables.

Thank you. Very informative. I haven't heard of Alter. I will check it out, as well as Brandpa. Where do you sell?

I sell at many places, some being brandable markets, and am constantly reassessing my results, prices, sell through, etc. We also have another brandable market on the horizon Rooted.com by a well respected member here @Riz M.

Lots of choices and more options strengthens our chances of selling in this space and keeps these markets on their toes. Used to be only BB not all that long ago. If you want to hit the ground running Alter and Rooted are the newest ones. Plus if one place rejects another may not.

That makes sense thank you. So being a creator of new to market domains (for me the research and creativity is the fulfillment), how would I go about forming some kind of partnership? I'm guessing these exist. Where one creates and sells under a certain amount and the experienced domainer, with more klout, turns around and sells them for a profit. Seems a win/win. I wonder if this is happening out there??
