They cant touch the reg fee, as long as it doesn't drop.

Personally i wouldn't have even bought sports24.tv for standard reg, just because a name has a high renewal it doesn't mean it is worth it imo

Its my VERY strong opinion that Sports24.TV will be available on eNom's Premium list at that price for a very long time.

I would not judge the value of your domain against that Premium with that renewal price, particularly if it still remains un-regged, and again IMO, is likely to remain so.

there are no too much kyewords with Sport left , if they will need some and dont want to spent 10 000 usd yearly then I can serve it or offer theSports.TV too I have almost forget this one.

$10k renewals for that name is an absolute joke. Who in their right mind would pay that much for it? I can see that one sitting there available for a very long time.

Sports24.tv was part of the online.tv drop fiasco last June. Thus it was part of online.tv's portfolio of x,xxx .tv names all with a premium renewal of $10. verisign/enom/demand media failed to upate the premium pricing on the drop, and in order to protect themselves they upped the premiums on all the dropped names to $10,000 and cancelled all the registrations. There were a few on this board heavily involved in the situation.

Actually I was the owner of this name for $10/year for about 12 hours before the mess unravelled.

Heroes, couldn't agree more. I think its worth reg fee or a bit more, and perhaps much more to the right end user.

Sports247 is probably better than Sports24 in my view (especially with the crazy renewal)
I actually really like Sports247, if i was still buying then i would snap that up.

I wish the crazy renewal fees issue would get sorted out as it makes the extension look bad to outsiders, i'm not going to go on a big rant about this though as we have been over it too many times.

It's a decent one but I decided to pass up the opportunity when I saw this was available due to no sales of "247" "360" "365" sales in the .tv extention. I was also tempted to reg this one!

At least you grabbed it before they read this thread & made it also a $10k/year renewal

Thanks to a good friends on this board I also reged 247Sports.tv as a back-up to Sports247.tv. Then I started thinking which one is better? I like them both actually and I started doing some research on 247xxxx.tv names and I also found another gem. 247Shopping.tv.

I also saw that most 247xxxx.tv name were also taken and again I was surprised. I did find a few more available including:

all of them were reged in all other major extensions.
