Today I received the following email:
For any 'newbies' who want to send this sort of email, let me give you some tips:
This is impersonal, to whom are you saying hello? I would suspect this sort of email is mass mailed, however- the sender actually went out of his way to craft an email address 'heytheresimon@(thewrongdomain.com)'. He does this, and yet can't put my name in the body?!
Luckily for the sender, I haven't turned off the catch-all email yet.
Don't lie. I seriously doubt my site appears for this term, and if it does it would be looooooooowwwwwwww down the list.
'Money Blocked'?! You're not going to sell something to me by saying it's your money that is blocked. Why would I, or anyone else, care that your money is tied up? What is the benefit to me in buying the names? Tailor a reason to buy a specific name to a specific buyer. RESEARCH what you're selling, RESEARCH who you're selling it to.
The domains are unrelated to each other, I refer to these as 'forum fodder' (the sort that'd only sell in places like the 'Bargain Bin' here a NamePros). Target the type of domain you're selling to the person you want to sell to.
Don't sound desperate. You're weakening your position straight away.
I think the sender is Romanian, and seems to be good enough at English to get the spellings correct, but the grammar is poor especially with uncapitalised letters.
If you need help crafting an English letter then why not ask for help here at NamePros? I'd certainly input help for (polite) requests here.
hello
i made a quick search on domain investor and your site came up.
i have some domains that represent money blocked and i am looking for a potential buyer :

ratatira.com - 100
vib3.com - 700
pleosk.com -100
orifla.me - 50
eagam.es - 50
if i find someone interested in all of them i am willing to make a substantial discount , even 50% of the total.
If this sparks your interest don't hesitate to get back to me.
