Good question. I was hoping to send them to countries who's primary language is english atm. But this may change if I can get a few people who can help me.

On the other hand, there are plenty of small town libraries and hospital/school libraries that would love donated new books or current magazine subscriptions..

Nice idea, You could maybe get sponsorship from local stores. You could also go and ask some charities that are always full of books for some support.

The hardest thing I see is the shipping fee.

What kinda help are you looking for?

Hello friend Nice idea. I do have bookdonations.org and my plan is to provide books to children here. The books that are just thrown away are still books and I know where the needful people are.

My ORG mission is somewhat like:

"We want to get the books which are donated by people old or new and share or distribute them." I have seen children who are crying and are hungry when their moms work in the farms and constructions site. Know what I can myself afford some food for them and those children will not just play there on road side crying with hunger for their mom and their mom also cannot pay attention to them whole day or she will not get paid for that day and their family will starve. My plan is that I want to make some shelter like place and give them some food and me or my volunteers here will teach them. We will also provide the books that needs to be read. So a kid would come to us even if he is coming there just to have some food and play with other kids.

That way I think I will atleast teach them how to write their own name if nothing else. I have high hopes that most of them will start off good and will grab the chance the organization is offering them and they will surely succeed. I have already talked with some school headmasters here and they surely welcome the textbooks and other stuff that can help childrens.

Hoping someday some of them will become very successful people and their success will bring tears in my eyes.
